ADVENTURE COMES TO LIFE AT ADVENTURE POINT

Adventure Point is the region’s premier youth and adult adventure center focused on team building, sustainability, STEM, leadership, and outdoor adventures for all ages.

Adventure Point is located on 30+ acres adjacent to The DeVos Family Center for Scouting in Walker, MI – just 5 miles northwest of downtown Grand Rapids. The campus features an outdoor 35’ Climbing / Rapelling Tower, Zipline, BB, and Archery Range and a Low COPE Challenge Course. Combined with 2 miles of groomed woodland trails along Mill Creek, and 5 modern Yurts for Camping – Adventure Point offers Fun, Adventure, and Outdoor Education for all ages.

ABOUT OUR STAFF

All of our staff are interviewed and go through a complete background check before being hired. As role models, staff are selected for sound judgment, maturity, experience, enthusiasm, and creativity. Training occurs both before and throughout the summer to ensure staff are providing the best possible experience for campers. Staff in leadership roles, shooting sports, and climbing have received appropriate training and certifications from the Boy Scouts of America, National Camp Association, and other certifying organizations. All staff are also certified in First Aid and CPR.

OUR FACILITIES AND PROPERTY

Our camp meets State of Michigan licensing requirements, which focus on health, safety, and program quality. In addition, Adventure Point meets the rigid standards for program, facilities, and operation as required by the National Boy Scouts of America. We are committed to providing a wide-variety of safe and fun experiences to all campers.
